noun
Evaluation or estimation of the nature, quality, or ability of someone or something.
Example: The assessment of educational needs.

Dysfunction
noun
Anormality or impairment in the function of a specified bodily organ or system.
Example: Kidney dysfunction required the patient to have dialysis three times a week.

Electropmyography
noun
A diagnostic procedure to assess the health of muscles and the nerve cells that control them (motor neurons). EMG results can reveal nerve dysfunction, muscle dysfunction or problems with nerve-to-muscle signal transmission.
Example: Electromyography is used in physiotherapy.

Osteoporosis
noun
Degeneration of joint cartilage and the underlying bone, most common from middle age onward. It causes pain and stiffness, especially in the hip, knee, and thumb joints.
Example: My grandmother suffers of osteoarthritis.

A disease in which the density and quality of bone are reduced. As bones become more porous and fragile, the risk of fracture is greatly increased.
